Here it is – part two of Ronelda and Dexter’s engagement session.  After we got done with the car and bike we stumbled across this house with a very interesting yard.  I couldn’t resist so we HAD to take some pictures there.  It was fun poking around and noticing some cool things in the garden and then it was off to Alki beach down the street.  I’ve never seen it at low tide before so we were able to go underneath one of the piers for some shots as well.  Ronelda and Dexter were so easy to work with and were naturals in front of the camera.  Can’t wait for their wedding later this month!

One night while out celebrating a co-worker’s friend’s birthday a few months ago, I had a conversation with one of the girls about her wedding plans since I knew she was getting married.  Everything was coming together and all she had left major to do was find a DJ.  I think I asked “who’s your photographer?” just cause I was curious.  It was then when I found out that I was the wedding photographer.  Seriously? Woohoo, hired on the spot!  I was both shocked and flattered.  Ever since that night we’ve been trying to schedule an engagement session and we finally made it happen last month.  We started off the shoot incorporating their car and bike as props.  I haven’t known Ronelda and Dexter that long, but I’m sure anyone who knows them will know that this is very fitting of them.  They originally wanted to go to the race track.  However, the place they frequent had an event on the day of the shoot.  That’s alright ’cause we made Alki beach (and the West Seattle bridge) our playground instead.

Come back soon for part two!
