I got asked to photograph a multi-family session on Christmas Eve by my friend Meakara.  As a business owner herself, it’s hard to find time to get the family together.  That’s why rain or shine we just had to deal with it when the day came.  Well, it rained that day… surprise, surprise?  The kids didn’t seem to mind it too much though.  They ran around in grandma’s backyard like you expect kids to do and what a lot of fun they had.  I don’t know if on any other rainy day they would be allowed out into the rain to run around like that, but I like to believe because of me they totally had an excuse.  I can’t wait until the spring (a re-shoot without the rain) because the girls and I are going to go frolicking in a field of flowers =).

So who haven’t heard the amazing story behind the homeless man with the “Golden Voice” yet?  Ted Williams is the latest YouTube sensation after a video of him went viral over the Internet.   His story is touching and goes to show second chances do come along and sometimes in the most unbelievable ways.  What a happy ending for him!  A few months ago we took some headshots for our friend James, who like Ted Williams, have the talent of “voice”.  If you find yourself mesmerized by Ted Williams’ voice, well I have another voice talent to share with you.  You need to check out James A. Parker.  His Facebook page can be found here just in case you decide to become a fan =).  We loved working with James to capture these images of him.  Since he also has a background in modeling and acting, we didn’t need to give him any photography direction at all.  He knew exactly what he had to do.  We just showed up to the house and within minutes we were done.  Quickest session ever.  Anyway, definitely check out his website and Facebook fan page.  If you know anyone looking for voice over production work this is the guy!
