Archive for April, 2011

I’m a little behind sharing these.  Bryant didn’t know what senior portraits were until his sister suggested it to him.  While photographing a portrait session of his family last December we also shot some of Bryant on the side for his senior portraits.  Bryant is into break dancing, deejaying, graffiti art and snowboarding.  While location scouting I found out about the abandoned TUBS building in the U-District and it turned out perfect for the photoshoot.  Here are a few shots of Bryant’s senior portrait session before it started raining on us (it’s the PNW after all).  He did great modeling don’t you think?

Canvas wraps/wall arts are a great way to display your favorite photos.  Turn your home or office wall into your very own art gallery by hanging up canvas clusters of the same or various sizes.  Here I took snapshots of a family session we shot back in December.  One of the daughters decided to order canvas wraps to give to their mother for Mother’s day.  What a great gift that any mom would appreciate!

The sizes of these canvas wraps are 16″ x 24″.  They come in many sizes though!

For these canvas wraps, I ordered the standard 1.5″ thick wraps.  You also have the option of .75″ and 2″ thick canvas wraps.  We also offer Thin Wraps, which you can read and see more photos of here.  Thin Wraps are super slim/thin canvas wraps for those who don’t like the chunky feel.

Tara and Josh are honeymooning in the Caribbeans right now.  Lucky right??  Oh what we would do to get some sun and warmth here in the Pacific Northwest at this moment.  We hope you two are enjoying your paradise vacation together for the first time as husband and wife!

We would like to share Part II of Tara and Josh’s wedding teasers.  They decided to get married at the Tulalip Resort &  Casino about an hour and a half north of Seattle.  I think many, including myself, never thought of the  Tulalip Resort and Casino as a wedding venue.  The venue is very nice and the staff were amazing!  Tara and her bridesmaids did a really great job transforming the resort’s pool into a wedding ceremony site.  I remember thinking the ceremony is happening where?  There’s a first time for everything right?  Since Tara and Josh are moving to Japan at the end of May, it was very fitting of them to have a cherry blossom inspired wedding.  For the short amount of time they had to plan their wedding and despite the normal hiccups most couples experience on their wedding day, the day went well.  I always tell brides that things always have a way of working out so don’t stress too much on your wedding day.  Tara and Josh are extremely fortunate to have such an amazing and supportive group of family and friends behind them and even more fortunate to have each other as they begin their new life together in Japan.  We wish you two the very best and please keep in touch with your family and friends back home!
