Meet four week old Baby Alyssa, the Hsu’s newest family member.  Prior to the baby session, her mom told me she’s a sleeper.  I thought to myself whoohooo!  Then came the day of the photoshoot and Alyssa decides she doesn’t want to sleep.  At one point we had two iPhones playing white noise in the background at the same time.  She was definitely a tough one, but we did manage to get her in sleeping beauty mode to snap some shots.  Congrats to Natalie and Jack on a sweet baby girl and to Bryson on a new baby sister.  We’re so happy for you guys!

Baby Lucus is finally one!   We both celebrated our birthdays this past Saturday.  I was pretty bummed I couldn’t make his first birthday party.  I had his mom bring him over the next day though so we can celebrate with a cake smash (or in this case a cupcake smash).  It was messy, but it was fun.   Happy 1st birthday Lucus!  We’ll coordinate our birthdays better next year =).  I can’t believe he’s one, check out more of Lucus over the past year.

A big congrats to Jacqueline + Tony on their precious baby girl and new family!  Baby Annabelle turned five weeks old this past weekend.  She was such a good baby and model.  Believe it not I took these pictures in my living room using natural lighting on a gloomy & rainy Saturday morning.  Glad to know I can transform my living room into a studio for newborn/baby portraits!  It seriously does get some great natural lighting and I can’t wait to get a couple more sessions in with this sweet summer light.  Here are some of my favorite shots of baby Annabelle.  Isn’t she a beautiful baby?  I can already tell she’s going to be such a daddy’s girl =).
