I’m leaving to Cambodia for two weeks and will be celebrating New Years for the first time in the motherland.  Talk about exciting!  A trip back to my roots always brings out mixed emotions in me.  It’s like a vacation, but not really.  It’s  more a homage to my family and heritage.  It’s time to step out of my bubble and into a different perspective.  Holiday in Cambodia, please treat me good.  I’ve missed you!

Maui.  One year wedding anniversary.  A secluded corner of a beautiful undeveloped white sand beach.  Waves crashing and the sun beating down.  A Canon DSLR.  What do you do (or what do I do)?  Have a photoshoot!  Seung and I didn’t have too many beach days since it was a short trip, but on this particular beach day we had a lot of fun pretending to be swimsuit models.  It was hard to resist being where we were, hehe.  I’m glad my husband was a good sport and played along with me since I knew he was dying to jump into the ocean to play with the waves instead.  Besides, I’m sure he enjoyed being the photographer for this session.  These are my favorite set of photos from our trip to Maui earlier this summer.  I miss Hawaii!
