For my birthday this year I had one simple wish, I wanted to get 400 fans/likes on my Facebook Fan page by the end of the day on my birthday. It reached 400 about two days after I made the announcement. Well, to show my appreciation for everyone’s support I am giving away a FREE Lifestyle Portrait Session. HOW TO WIN A FREE LIFESTYLE PORTRAIT SESSION
How to enter:
- You MUST leave a comment on why you want to win with your name and email below in this blog post.
- You MUST be a fan on Facebook (yes, I will check).
- The contest runs from 7/26/11 – 7/31/11
- You’re not required to, but sharing is good karma and is a nice thing to do so please help spread the word
The Winner:
- The winner will be chosen at random and will be announced on 8/1/11. Winner will receive an email as well.
The Prize:
- Free Lifestyle Portrait session (up to two hours on-locations shooting)
- Limit of 5 people in session
- Receive 20% off all print and product orders
Rules:
- You MUST redeem and schedule your portrait session by 12/31/11. You can use the session for individual, families, children, couples, engagements, etc. However, this free lifestyle portrait session cannot be redeemed or exchanged for any types of event coverage, boudoir or newborn baby sessions.
- You MUST be willing to travel to the Everett-Seattle-Tacoma area at your own expense for your portrait session if you’re not local.
- You MUST sign a model release form and be okay with me posting images from the portrait session online (website, blog, social media sites, etc).
- This free lifestyle portrait session cannot be transferred to another individual.

I want to win the photo session so that I can get a family portrait session w/my sis, mom and grandma as we have not had a real portrait session since I was 10 (almost 20years ago) ??!

I would like to win this free photo session because I would like to have a family portrait with my fiance and my 3 boys. I have taken the boys to different photo sessions, and thus far it has been challenging. My fiance also doesn’t like to have his picture taken, so I think this opportunity would give me and my family a great experience to work with you and to see if you, as the photographer, could make this photo session a good experience, so that Brian and the boys feel comfortable about getting their pictures taken. Hi Nara! I have been wanting to get family portraits done for a while. It seems everytime I come back and visit Seattle, my parents look older and older! I would love to have someone who knows us capture some of our more candid family moments! Mainly my mother trying to force-feed me rice and my dad trying to teach us how to fish

Hey Nara I want to win this photo session and give it to my brother and his new family as a gift. He just got married last year, now has a 2 month old son and just bought their very first house, which we are renovating right now. Once he gets all moved in and settled I think it would be awesome for him to have a chance have some nice pictures to hang on his wall. Money is tight for him since he just spent over 20 thousand dollars renovating the house himself! He’s incredibly proud of his new little family and has talked about doing family photos once he has some extra cash! I know that this is something he will appreciate!
Awesome prize give away, Nara! Hmmm…my reason for entering might not be as touching as everyone else’s desire to win but I thought I would give it a shot. I don’t have many professional portraits of myself so I think that I should be the best gift for myself since I will also be turning 31 this year. LOL! Does that sound selfish?!
Hi Nara, I want to enter so I could get a family portrait of my family. Since my son was born we haven’t had the chance to have a family portrait done. I would love to win this session for my Parent! After all that they have done and given to us (family of 8 children), we never really take enough time to give them something back in return. Both of my Parents love pictures and really treasure each and every one of them, even the ones with their eyes closed or one not looking at the camera, they love! We, their children, have never successfully taken proper pictures of them because they don’t take us seriously. When they envision professional photos, they think of the typical SEARS photo session in the box sized studio. I want them to see that it goes beyond that and I would love for them to be captured at their best… outside of a box. Having met in Cambodia and with all the struggles at the time, they never had a proper wedding ceremony. Yet, they’ve managed to be together and raise 8 children and helped with 11 grandchildren… in over 45 years together now. (I am getting all teary eyed as I type this at work… you know how I am) They totally deserve this and would be thrilled!
Oh… and they’ve been starting to hit the gym together too (in their late 60’s) so they deserve this even more, don’t yah think? 😉
The experience of receiving a photo session from you sounds fun! Even though I tease you, I have to admit that you do a great job. Its pretty evident that you enjoy what you do because the final results show it! A better question for this contest should be “why wouldn’t you want a photo session from Nara?”. … i hope i win.

Hi Nara! We would love to win a photo session that would highlight our newborn baby! We would also want some photos of us three as a new family and share them with all of our friends, co-workers, and relatives on Facebook, on our baby website, and through emails and possibly a coffee table book.
